Open your windows and breathe it in! It has quickly become that time of year, the time we call sweater weather. Overcast is the new sunrise, making it nearly impossible to push ourselves out of bed. Let’s face it, why would we want to get up and get ready for work when laying under the covers with hot chocolate is what this weather screams? Well we don’t, unfortunately duty calls and so do our alarm clocks.
As much as we anxiously await this season, maintaining our comfort and cuteness isn’t always the easiest in this weather. It’s all because of that little love/hate relationship we share with the rain.
Dancing in it? Yes.
Jumping in puddles? Of course.
Wearing your hair down? Help.
Of course there is always a certain occasion for the rain hair, but when you have to head out for your day and conquer the world, the frizz is anything but motivating. No worries, hair help is here with a few ideas you can try next time!
The first and ultimately the most simple: headband. Voila! Even if you throw your hair up into a pony-tail, you can still personalize the look with some color.
Also try the half braid; just a simple French braid, but instead of pulling it all back, let the bottom half free! This way it keeps the classy look for work, while keeping the front frizz from going wild.
The fish tail is always an elegant look as well. While changing it up from the typical braid, you’re still managing to keep it tight and locked in. This one can be easily styled into various ways. Even in the rain, the loose look look is never phased for the fishtail. The half up half down look is always a favorite as well. Pull all of the hair into the tail or just take the two sides to meet in the middle, both are a classy and well maintained look, wearable for all weather.
